I'm a mum of two energetic boys. I'm an active scuba diver and sailor who loves being on the water. When I'm not moving, you'll find me unwinding with some cross-stitch, crochet, a book, or a good jigsaw puzzle—all with a side of chocolate and pizza! I also appreciate a solid dad joke, so feel free to test me with your best one!

Work wise...

I am an experienced Exercise Physiologist specialising in helping those with persistent pain, weight loss goals or chronic diseases. PainWise – Movement & Mindset Program

A non-opioid approach to persistent pain

At RehabMotion, I understand that persistent pain is complex and deeply personal. That's why I've developed PainWise - Movement & Mindset, a structured, evidence-based program designed to help individuals build life skills that support long-term pain management and improved quality of life.

This six-session program runs over eight weeks and is delivered by a pain-specialised Exercise Physiologist. Sessions can be held in person or via telehealth. Drawing on principles from psychology, occupational therapy, and movement science, PainWise helps clients shift from passive coping to active self-management. I focus on increasing confidence in daily movement, reducing the frequency and impact of flare-ups, and helping people return to meaningful activities—whether that's study, work, hobbies, or community participation.

Each participant begins with a personalised assessment to identify individual goals, beliefs, barriers, and behaviour patterns. Over the program, clients explore essential pain science, pacing, sleep strategies, calming techniques, and flare-up planning. They develop a tailored ‘toolkit’ to support their ongoing journey and regain a sense of control over their health.

PainWise is suitable for anyone living with chronic or persistent pain—particularly those who’ve tried everything and feel stuck or misunderstood. I work with individuals juggling study, defence-related transitions, or psychosocial challenges, and provide flexible, trauma-informed care.

This is not a quick fix—it’s a supported journey toward lasting, empowered change and building your self-management skills!

Frequently Asked Questions

If a service I need isn’t listed, can you still help?

If the service you need isn’t listed, please don’t hesitate to ask! I may still be able to accommodate your needs or refer you to the appropriate professional.

An exercise physiologist is a healthcare professional who specialises in using physical activity and exercise to help individuals manage and improve their health. At RehabMotion, I design tailored programs to treat a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, weight concerns, and a many more. I focus on improving overall physical function, strength, and mobility to enhance daily living, well-being and quality of life.

While both professions focus on rehabilitation, an exercise physiologist primarily uses exercise and movement to address chronic conditions and improve your life. In contrast, a physiotherapist typically focuses on hands-on therapies such as manual manipulation, stretching, and other physical interventions to treat musculoskeletal injuries. At RehabMotion, I focus on creating long-term, sustainable improvements through exercise and lifestyle change.

No, you don’t need a referral to book a session with RehabMotion. You can contact me directly to schedule an appointment, and I will work with you to assess your needs and develop a personalised plan.

At RehabMotion, I treat a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Chronic pain

  • Musculoskeletal injuries

  • Neurological conditions

  • Cardiovascular issues

  • Diabetes management

  • Weight loss and bariatric support

  • Osteoporosis and arthritis

  • And more.

I customise programs to each individual’s condition and goals.

Yes, exercise physiology can be covered by Medicare (with a referral from a doctor), NDIS, and private health insurance (depending on your plan). I can assist you to understand your insurance options.

In your first session, I will conduct a thorough assessment to understand your current health, concerns, and specific goals. This includes discussing your current movement and any health conditions, followed by discussing a tailored plan. You can expect a friendly, supportive environment where your comfort and progress are my priority.

Yes, I offer hydrotherapy as part of my rehabilitation services. Hydrotherapy can be particularly beneficial for pain management, joint mobility, and muscle strengthening, as the water’s buoyancy reduces strain on the body while providing resistance for exercise.

Absolutely! I have extensive experience with hospital weight management programs and provides individualised programs for weight loss support. I will work with you to develop a safe, sustainable routine and lifestyle changes that complement your weight loss goals while improving overall health.

We specialise in designing programs that help older adults improve strength, balance, and mobility. Whether you’re looking to maintain independence, reduce fall risk, or manage age-related conditions like arthritis, we offer targeted exercises that promote functional movement and overall well-being.
